The book is in Near Mint condition and still has the rice paper covering for the book. This book is from their 29th series in 1961. The book is 11”x7.5”x1.5 and is 365 numbered pages. This edition looks beautiful both in and out of the slipcase. The slipcover is paper with paper titling on the edge. The illustration has multiple colors making the book stand out. The boards are covered in cream paper with a Victorian illustration. This book is #32 of 1500 copies and is signed by illustrator Mimi Korach on the colophon. This book has an introduction by Henry Steele Commager and the illustrations are done by Mimi Korach. This is a beautiful copy of the 1961 Limited Editions Club release of The Rise of Silas Lapham by William Dean Howells.
