Julia Pottinger’s books have been translated into more than 26 foreign languages and she has had an opportunity of appearing on the New York Times’ Bestseller list more than 18 times. Julie Pottinger said that she chose to use her pseudonym so that her regency romances would be put on bookshelves, next to Amanda quick who was very successful in American’s history of romantic authors. I always believe children to be blessed angels from God (of course they have to be conceived by a man and a woman, but their appearance in this life is, to me, a gift from the Almighty ^^).Julia Quinn is a pseudonym that is used by Julie Pottinger a bestselling author of the American romantic history. Then came the miracle, and the smiles (or tears ^^) of happiness for the birth of a baby boy, the future Earl of Kilmartin (of course this is no spoiler, because you can get it from reading the plot :D). But as a young woman, who could get married and have her own family in the future, I just couldn't imagine enough how hard it must have gotten for both Francesca and Michael (Julia Quinn did write about their hardship, but I think in reality, it could be worse, especially when we take into consideration that the Bridgertons always reproduced easily and had as many children as they wished). Not that I have to deal with infertility, far from that (I haven't been married or even had a boyfriend yet :D). Seeing Francesca surrounded by the large group of nieces and nephews, while she hadn't been able to conceived a child 3 years into the marriage with Michael, gave me pang to the chest, a pain that I couldn't explain. This novella deals with the subject of infertility really touchingly and heartbreakingly.

And it certainly did their love story justice by giving me both the tears and smiles for the marriage of the hero and heroine. After reading When He was Wicked, it's natural (or compulsory? :D) for me to continue the journey of Michael and Francesca with this 2nd Epilogue. Although I haven't read all the novellas in this Bridgerton series, I can confidently say that this one is the best out of the batch.
